Bethesda posted on its official Twitter today that it is working with 2K Games and its associated studios to put out a new set of bundles for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next month.
One will feature two of the last generation’s biggest games: Bioshock Infinite and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. In addition, Arcane Studios will be releasing a similar bundle with Dishonored and Gearbox’s award winning Borderlands 2.
These bundles will most likely be limited to current-gen consoles, as Bethesda previously said it has no intention to port these games to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. We have seen “Greatest Hits” cross-publisher bundles like this in the past, featuring games like the original BioShock and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion“. Both bundles will hit stores on February 11th for $29.99 each and will feature only the original base game’s content, no additional DLC.
Bioshock Infinite was named one of VGW’s Essential Games for 2013 along with Best First-Person Shooter, while Borderlands and Dishonored were both winners of several awards in 2012, and Skyrim was the Best RPG and Game of The Year candidate in 2011. Anyone who may have missed these games should seriously consider picking up one or both of these bundles.
